Dear To-Do lists,
first of all let me tell how eternally grateful I am that you exist in my life.
Quite honestly without you I would be totally lost and probably not get done anything, since my brain seems to have not enough space to remember stuff.
I really wish there were not so many of you and that I could work you off faster, but well that’s how it is. Also it made my life so much easier that I can have you with me 24/7, since you do not only exist on paper but also as an app in my phone.
I really hope this amazing partnership continues as long as possible and again I am so thankful for your help.
Okay… I don’t want to sound totally crazy. But as you maybe can imagine I really really love To-Do-Lists. I can tell you right now, that without them I would be sooo screwed.
I could tell you about an argument I had with my mother as a three-year old, but if you would tell me to take out the garbage, I would turn around and basically have forgotten what you wanted me to do.
So now I have a list for everything: General tasks, to dos for university, what I wanted to google and so much more. Either I write it down on paper or have it as a portable version on my phone.
Though to be honest, they sometimes stress me out. Seeing the tasks and post-its piling up, I sometimes need to remind myself to chill out. Because let’s be honest: The world will not stop rotating, because I didn’t check something off for a week.
Well what I mean to say is, if you feel like me that you sometimes have a brain like Swiss cheese I can highly recommend having To-Do-Lists in any way, because it just helps you to focus and not forget anything, like that present you wanted to buy for your coworkers birthday or that new travel destination you wanted to research 😉
So how do you do it? Do you need lists or are you someone that can remember everything? Let me know
