Happy New Year of 2018! Hope everyone had a fun New Year’s Eve and made it safely to the new year. Today I thought about what I want this year to be like. I don’t really make any New Year’s resolutions, because I know I will abandon them after a week. I do have goals though that I want to start working on this year.

  • Take more risks
  • Be bold
  • Form new relationships

This year I want to be more bold, fearless and take more risks. I admire people who go after what they want without backing down and getting discouraged.
I’m also hoping to meet new amazing women from all over the world and form new relationships/friendships. I also working on strengthening the ones I already have, because I love the amazing women around me.

Body, Mind & Soul

  • Stop overthinking
  • Relax more
  • Don’t try to control everything

My new motto: Stop overthinking, worrying about the future and trying to control everything. I really want to go more with the flow and maybe be more spontaneous. Overthinking has probably cost me a few sleepless nights and it just unnecessary stress I put on myself. I think people who take it more as it comes are way happier than little control junkies like me who try to influence every outcome and be even more disappointed when it doesn’t work out. So one of my big goals is to just BREATHE and relax my mind and soul a little more.

  • Not get discouraged by rejection
  • You are good as others
  • The sky is the limit

Since 2018 is the year I will finish my bachelor’s degree, I am so excited to see what my professional future will bring. I want to work abroad and challenge myself in a new way. Every rejection letter will not be a disappointment but an encouragement to push further.

  • Gain more readers
  • Create more meaningful content
  • Find a clear path to where I want this blog to be headed

I’ve been blogging for 1 1/2 month now and it has already been a challenge, but also so much fun. I still don’t quite know where this blog is supposed to be headed. What I do know though is that I want to create a powerful platform for like-minded women who want to see more positive change in recognition, equality and just their quality of life. Also I hope to take this blog as a whole to the next level.

So what are you goals? What do want to achieve this year? Let me know πŸ™‚
I hope this year will be exciting and successful for all of us.

Love, Carolin

Great goals! May I suggest you see someone to make sure you don’t have an Anxiety disorder, I’m speaking from experience and know the signs. Good luck! My goals this year is to get a divorce, so I’m no longer controlled, get my book review business going, and get my novel finished/published.
