Good news for dog owners
Findings from a Swedish study show that owning a dog decreases the risk of having a heart attack and other fatal diseases. Though the study cannot explicitly explain how dogs have this sort of impact, but it suggest that the company of a dog is able to reduce stress and make the owner think about a healthy lifestyle. The work of five female scientists was finally rewarded
L’Oreal USA honored five female scientists for their groundbreaking work by giving them the 2017 For Women in Science Fellowship, which grants them a big amount of money for their postdoctoral research. The Dr. Kellie Ann Jurado, Dr. Sydney Schreppler, Dr. Ritu Raman, Dr. Molly Schumer, and Dr. Felicity Muth were honored at the Embassy of France in Washington and inspired many young women sitting in the audience. Time to have that fancy breakfast
There are only a few movies that have such an iconic scene like Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly having breakfast with a croissant and a cup of coffee unfortunately still outside of Tiffany’s. Our prayers have been heard, because finally you can actually have breakfast at Tiffany’s. This week the flagship store in New York opened the Blue Box Café, which is located in the fourth floor and even offers a “Tiffany Tea” – menu. You can find the whole story here.

For die hard Disney fans this is the must-follow fashion trend. Disneybounders let their daily styles be inspired by all kinds of Disney characters. Another reason to travel to Barcelona
As if there weren’t enough reasons for you to want to travel to Barcelona you can put another one on your list. This week Antoni Gaudi’s Casa Vicens, which was the first house he designed, opened to the public.
